The Elmwood - Tobacco Veg Tan (618) Factory Seconds
Boot and Leather (618 Last)
This model is called the Elmwood and it is our interpretation of the classic Chelsea boot style. The Elmwood is made with Gore-Tex on the sides of the ankles. We use a tighter weave of this material to help keep the ankle in place. This model is made with our full vegetable tanned Spanish leather in a Tobacco color. This article is a full vegetable tanned leather and has an oiled finish to it which contributes to an initial darker color appearance.
Grade
1 - Pairs listed have scratches within the leather or areas of the leather which have a higher oil content to them than shown in the stock pictures, making some of the leather appear darker in person. There will be areas of the leather which may have some small scuffs or scratches from handling on the production floor. Additionally, a few of these sizes were made with a Commando/lug sole and heel. The ones which were have been marked by the size and then "Commando" attached to the size have the Commando sole/heel configuration.
Our build focuses on enhanced breath-ability and shock absorption in a more natural way by using leather components. Additional build information along with cutaways can be found under our Craft + Build section.
