The Delaware 2.0 - Tan Beaumont (618) Factory Samples

Boot and Leather (618 Last)

This is the third iteration of our classic Delaware boot, but with a small twist. In an effort to create a sleeker, cap toe-style boot, we decided to run this style as an Allen pattern but with the brogue cap toe in the toebox. As a result, the toebox is a single piece of upper leather much like you'd find on the build of most Allen models. For this set of pairs in the November drop, the upper pattern was slightly re-designed to have a mildly lower cut height along with a lower and wider heel counter pattern. The last is still the same 618 last.

The leather chosen for this boot is Beaumont from the C.F. Stead tannery and is a tan color. This is a rugged, full grain, combination chrome/vegetable tanned leather with a tighter grain and stiffer feel. It is a pure aniline with a heavily waxed finish during tanning. Due to this tanning, there will be much pull-up in this leather. With wear, you'll begin to see the waxes and oils move around beneath the surface almost immediately.

Grade

1 - 2/6/2026: Sample pairs cut from size grading for this run. Pairs listed have been handled both on the factory floor and in the sampling room so there may be some scuffs or scratches on them, or the leather may be either slightly lighter or slightly darker than the stock pictures shown here.
Our build focuses on enhanced breath-ability and shock absorption in a more natural way by using leather components. Additional build information along with cutaways can be found under our Craft + Build section.
